The Starchild Goes Home
The Starchild has been studied and tested for 20 years. People have debated what it is. The final DNA results showed without a doubt that the Starchild is a human 5-year-old boy with some sort of deformities. Many people even those that have been right by my side trying to find out what the Starchild really is, are very angry at me for finishing the project. The point is it’s done.
What we have forgotten is; these two skulls are human remains. They were alive 900 years ago. They were human beings that had family. They had lives. The 5-yr. old child that we know as the Starchild died and was buried with loving care. While the female companion laid down and died next to the little boy.
Do you know any woman even a mother who would have just died next to a grave of a deformed little boy? This woman did not fight the death that awaited her. She looked death in the eye and took it with dignity. I am in awe of her and hope that I can live and die with such dignity.
Then 80 years ago a young girl stumbled across this grave site and took the remains. We have forgotten that this is grave robbery and illegal in most countries. Then she smuggled the skulls from one country into another country; yet another crime.
After staying in her position for over 70 years, then the skulls were given to another man who in turn gave them to me. Once I received them and begin the process of finding out what caused the deformations I saw. I was the person to allow the skull to be cut for the first test. Since that first cut it has been subject to over 8 more samples being taken some I knew about many I did not know about. All of the teeth were removed.
The test show that this young boy was found to be from Mexico without a doubt. The woman found next to this little boy is also from Mexico
I was finally able to take these two human skulls home. Ruben Uriarte and Gilberto Rivera, were able to find Archaeologists Enrique Chacon Soria and Alberto Peña of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (NIAH) whom were willing continue to do the archaeological research of the skulls. After many emails and phone calls between Ruben and myself and Dr. Chacon of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (NIAH) about repatriating the skulls back to Mexico. It was decided that on April 18, 2018 I would take the skulls to the NIAH museum in Juarez Mexico where Dr. Chacon could begin his research on the Starchild.
Dr. Chacon will keep me updated on his work. He thinks that the skulls will be taken to Mexico City for this research and be put on display for people to see it. It might even go on tour for all the world to see.
I will keep everyone updated on where people can view the skulls and Dr. Chacon’s progress.
I am presently writing a book about my journey with these two skulls. What doesn’t fit in this site will be in the book. Again, I’ll let you know when the book is available for purchase.
